Irrigation pumps and piping will need to be installed and maintained. What equipment do you need to ensure you can properly maintain your property?
    
3. Check deed restrictions and verify zoning and ordinances
   As part of your due diligence, check for any restrictions that may limit what you can and can’t do on your property. When you are working with a real estate agent, they can provide this information. Some things that may come up are:
   • Minimum or maximum dwelling square footages
   • Rules against outbuildings or auxiliary structures
   • Limits on building styles and materials you can use
   • Other limits pertaining to how and what you can build
      
4. Double-check your budget and financing
   Having a budget in mind in real estate is important. But with land, it is more imperative that you have a plan for everything you will need.
